Together We Can End The Two Year Recession

Together We Can End The Two Year Recession

Los Angeles, CA - September 15, 2010 This week marks the two year anniversary of the start of the worst economic recession since The Great Depression. Currently there are 14.9 millions of Americans out of work, 9.6% unemployment rate, and an estimated 14 million more Americans considered underemployed. Many of these jobless workers are considering exiting the corporate world and entering the entrepreneur lifestyle. However, the SBA reported that in 2009 there were 60,800 small businesses that declared bankruptcy. Based on the first quarter 2010, we are on track to come close to the 2009 failures. West Coast-based startup company, TheViralPublicity.com, is launching a community-supported initiative to organically build business one company at a time without use of government funds.

Edwin Duterte, CEO of TheViralPublicity.com, believes that if small- to mid- sized business band together to share resources, America can have a softer economic landing and end the recession.

TheViralPublicity.com will be hosting unique business networking events that incorporates social media tools to create a community environment whereby local companies help one another to increase sales. At live events throughout the country, the events will have proactive "connectors" to help businesses introduce themselves so each company will have an opportunity to share resources. At the same time, organizers will video as many guests to highlight each business. The video will then be placed on Youtube.com/viralpublicy channel for the purpose of continuing the networking. The next local events are Sept. 22 in San Jose, Sept. 23 in Las Vegas and Sept. 29 in Long Beach.

Putting the White House and various political parties fight aside, TheViralPublicity.com is on a mission to better small- to mid- sized business sales by networking with one another to share resources and contacts. Edwin Duterte, CEO of TheViralPublicity.com, says, "No matter what political party you belong to, America is in a terrible recession. We need to band together as a community and "Pay It Forward" by giving each business the highest chance to survive. Together, we can beat the recession without the intervention of government."

"The way this organization uses social media that continues to foster networking even after their live event is amazing", says Philip Dahlheimer of Grover Labs. My business is about selling environmentally friendly cleaning products. I have attended these events since earlier this summer. Each event I have been able to get introduced to local professionals and I am able to continue to reconnect with these professionals after the event by sharing the mini-commercial TheViralPublicity made of my company. I really believe that if we as a whole build relations with one another, all of our businesses can survive."
